Poached trouts on spicy noodles

My girlfriend knows a woman who makes perfectly chewy and delicious noodles and once in a while she is able to get us a small bag of these fabulous chinese noodles. This saturday we had the chance to have these fresh noodles on our table.

Since we had a few trouts in the fridge, we decided to poach them in a broth made with water, soy sauce, chili flakes, lime juice and lime zest as well as a few sichuan peppers. The fish was added to the noodles and everything was perfect.

The moral of this story: make friends with good cooks and people who enjoy fishing!
